The AKM13 (Avtomat Kalashnikova Modernizirovanniy) is a 7.62mm assault rifle designed by Mikhail Kalashnikov. It is an upgraded version of the AK-47 rifle and was developed in the 1950s.
BO (Black Ops) Manufacture is a company situated in France manufacturing products of very high quality such at this AKM13. You could almost say that their products have the same high quality produts such as Inokatsu, and we all know how well they're made.
This AKM13 mimics the same simplistic and effective design in a very solid product. It's made out of real wood and steel which were all handmade which makes it a very unique and beautiful piece of art. Custom hand finishing gives the gun an aged effect for more personality and realism. Even the grip looks the part although it's a bit thicker than you expect to accommodate the motor, like on all AEGs. It's made out of plastic but it's designed to look like fiber glass and it' looks very convincing which explains its price. Each model is quality checked and signed by the engineer who built it, so in a way, they're all different in their own way. We find that no two pieces look exactly the same due to the difference in wood grain on the stock and foregrip, and also the aging of the steel surfaces. Inside is a purple V3 gearbox that functions very smoothly with a 7.4V Lipo battery (which we recommend). The precision inner barrel is 6.03mm for greater accuracy.
The AKM13 includes all the standard fittings and levers that you would expect in an AK style weapon.
Front and rear elevation adjustable sights
Stamped, treated, neatly spot welded and riveted full metal body and a very cool designed metallic AK magazine.
Authentic wood grip and stock, plastic pistol grip made to look like fiber glass.
Adjustable hop up unit accessible when you open the bolt by sliding it across.
Firing the AKM13 is what you'd expect from an AEG as they all sound very similar. Like most airsoft guns, this AEG is skirmish-able. Weighing in at an almost realistic 3.5 kgs, this raw metallic beauty has heft. With the AKM13, it's not just about the performance, but it seems to call-out as a tribute and testament to the historic value of the AKM variant.
We suggest using 7.4 Lipo Batteries or anything similar making it fire at a reasonable 350 fps. The battery (connected via a Tamiya style connector) is placed in the stock of the AKM13 which has plenty of storage space.
