The Accuracy International Arctic Warfare rifle is a bolt-action sniper rifle designed and manufactured by the British company Accuracy International. Since its introduction in the 1982 as the L96A1, the Arctic Warfare series of rifles have been the standard issue sniper rifle of the British Armed Forces and has proved popular as a civilian, police, and military rifle worldwide. The key features of these rifles are improved performance in very cold conditions (hence Arctic Warfare) without impairing operation in less extreme conditions. The L96 airsoft sniper rifle has proven to be a popular model over the years with a variety of different models available; the most popular by far is the Tokyo Marui L96 Airsoft AWS Sniper Rifle - OD (Spring Power) however Novritsch has a version resembling the L96 airsoft sniper with his Novritsch SSG96 Airsoft Sniper Rifle (Spring Power).
