Tanaka U.S.M.C.M40 with Scope 3-9 x 40 With High Mount Ring Set - Gas Version

Tanaka faithfully replicates the original USMC M40 Sniper rifle, a militarized variant of the Remington M700. Using the renowned Pegasus Gas Rifle system, it is capable of firing at a muzzle velocity of 420fps letting you reach ranges that make this bolt action rifle effective.

The smooth, spring-free action allows for rapid follow-up shots as the striker cocks on the downwards movement of the bolt handle, similar to the real thing. Hop-up is easily accessible via a dial at the top of the weaver rail above the receiver enabling quick corrections and adjustments on the fly.

While the receiver, barrel and mechanism are entirely constructed from aluminum, the stock is imitation wood ABS, which is not entirely a bad thing as the real stock of the M40 suffered from warping issues.

The replica also comes packaged with the 3-9x40 scope seen in the picture, along with high mount rings to attach it to the receiver's weaver rail.
