The TTI TR-1 Ultralight AEG is based on the JW2 Ultralight rifle wielded by the protagonist in the renowned "John Wick" franchise. Designed and fully licensed by EMG (TTI & BCM) and VFC, it is a near-perfect 1:1 replica of the iconic rifle as seen in the movie. This Airsoft rifle is reproduced with meticulous attention to detail, mirroring the aesthetics of the gun that John Wick himself used to take out a small army with, featuring a new billet-style upper receiver, the BMC KMR Alpha 13" handguard, the TTI GM Interceptor Compensator, and authentic EMG/TTI markings that are accentuated by BCM Gunfighter accessories.

Beyond its striking visuals, the TR-1 Ultralight AEG Airsoft rifle by VFC boasts enhanced functionalities. Noteworthy additions include the BCM Gunfighter Mod 1 collapsable stock, offering increased battery space for prolonged engagements. Internally, the TR-1 Ultralight AEG has the GATE ASTER ETU system built into VFC's ECS V2.1 gearbox (more on the gearbox later), instantly making this AEG one of the top performing AEGs to run out of the box. The GATE ASTER features programmable electronics, like a trigger proximity sensor that allows the end user to fine-tune 250 trigger sensitivity settings, a binary trigger mode as a basic setup, an optical gear cam sensor that supports all types of gear ratios and allows the end user to program and switch up the gun's firing mode from semi/full-auto to semi/burst for example.

The ECS gearbox included in the gun is VFC's revamped version of the standard M4/AR-style V2 gearbox, dubbed the "V2.1" ensuring top-tier performance in all spectrums. VFC's ECS gearbox features a completely reinforced build with parts like the HOP-UP chamber system, piston assembly, and tappet plate being made using a new fiber-reinforced polymer material. In contrast, the gear set and match-grade cylinder are made of steel, as well as the gearbox shell being made thicker and with better, tougher materials. The ECS gearbox also features a quick-change spring system that allows the end user to switch out the piston spring without taking apart the entire gun. Extremely useful when needing to switch from a high FPS outdoor setup to a lower indoor CQB-friendly FPS range on the fly. The gun is wired to the rear within the buffer tube and is compatible with 7.4V and 11.1V Li-Po batteries (DEANS Plug) for peak operational efficiency.
